Home Nursing Agency Healthcare announced plans to quadruple office space at the Kish Creek Center in downtown Lewistown due to the demand and growth over the past year of the agency’s home health and hospice services in Mifflin and surrounding counties.

Home Nursing Agency President/CEO Bob Packer joined Kish Creek Center Developer, Tim Havice, to unveil plans to increase office space from 1600 square feet to 6400 square feet and to equip the facility with the most energy-efficient features and state-of-the-art technology. “I am so pleased to assist an organization that is experiencing growth and success due to the excellent care and services they've providing in our community,” said Havice.

As the first Medicare-certified hospice provider in Pennsylvania and recognized by Pennsylvania Homecare Association for ‘Best Practices in Homecare and Hospice, Home Nursing Agency has been serving central Pennsylvania families since 1968 as a private, not-for-profit provider of home healthcare and behavioral health services.

"Service excellence is our mission. I believe our growth and success over the last year is a testament to the dedication of our nurses, home health aides, therapists, social workers, and office staff to ensure that the residents of the community receive the highest quality of care available," said Bob Packer.
The agency has over 980 employees and serves over 30,000 individuals throughout Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Clearfield, Centre, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Indiana, Juniata, Mifflin, Somerset and Westmoreland counties.

“As I’ve said before, Home Nursing Agency Healthcare has such a positive reputation throughout the region. I admire the staff's professionalism and team spirit, which is so evident in every aspect of what they do and how they do it. It's not surprising that the agency is consistently recognized for its best practices and as a Best Place to Work,” added Havice, a native of Lewistown.
